Chuandixia ancient village
Chuandixia was once a busy and prosperous village in Ming (1368-1644) and Qing dynasties (1644-1911). But the ancient was destroyed by Japanese army in the war of 1940s and Cultural Revolution of 1970s. Chuandixia Ancient Village now has only 14 households living right now with total population of around 30 people. Since it has been maintaining as what it was in history, Chuandixia ancient village is considered to be a living museum in Beijing and now it becomes a very famous historical attraction of Beijing.
