Ming Tombs Beijing
Ming Tombs is one of the most famous attractions of Beijing. The sites has tombs for 13 emperors of Ming dynasty China about 600 years ago.
Ming Tombs lies about 48 kilometers (30 miles) north of Beijing. Thirteen of the 16 Ming emperors are interred here, hence people call it in Chinese Ming Shisanling (the 13 Ming Tombs). The tombs were located in accordance with Chinese geomantic specifications requiring graves to be protected by high ground.
